What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)?
Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP) is a non-surgical procedure that is performed in a doctor’s’ exam room, generally taking less than an hour. PRP takes advantage of your blood’s natural healing properties to stimulate hair growth or your skin’s collagen levels which repair skin damage and restore a natural glow. The treatment begins with extraction and separation of your blood samples in a centrifuge to isolate the platelets from the blood. The resulting platelet-rich plasma is then injected into tissue.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Restore a full head of hair with natural looking results using PRP therapy. Using tiny injections of your own PRP, the growth factors in your blood cells naturally stimulate hair growth in both men and women.
Growth factors from your blood platelets are injected into the superficial layers of your skin to provide a PRP facial. This stimulates your skin’s collagen levels which repair skin damage and restore a natural glow.
PRP supports your body’s self-healing processes by using your own cells. Blood is mostly liquid (called plasma) but also contains solid component including red cells, white cells and platelets. The platelets are important for clotting blood but they also contain proteins called growth factors which are important in the healing of injuries.
With a higher concentration of growth factors than typically found in blood, PRP injections support the restoration of injured tissue and inhibit painful inflammatory processes.
